ADMISSIONS
Atlantic Shores Hospital is a Baker Act and Marchman Act receiving facility that has a 24-hour, 7-days a week crisis intervention, assessment, referral, and admission service. The Admissions office staff, comprised of bilingual therapists, psychiatric nurses, and psychologists, provide confidential assessments and consultation for psychiatric, substance abuse or dual diagnosis problems. Following the assessment, our Admissions staff will make referrals for outpatient, partial hospitalization, or inpatient care based on individual treatment needs. Admissions staff can also help families determine the financial resources available for health care costs. Medicare, private pay, and most managed care insurance plans are accepted.
The Admissions Office is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
If you are abusing drugs or alcohol, feeling depressed and anxious, or feeling like you need to be stabilized, please call our Admissions Office at 954-771-2711 or Toll-free 888-771-2711 to set up a confidential and free assessment.
REFERRALS
Our Needs Assessment and Referral Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond promptly to calls or walk-in inquiries. A free assessment may be scheduled at any time, wherein a counselor will help identify presenting problems and, with physician consultation, match patients' needs to appropriate care within the Atlantic Shores system or with other community resources. We provide assistance in obtaining effective and accessible treatment services, as well as consultation regarding financial options.
We want to ensure that our patients continue their recovery after they leave Atlantic Shores. Therefore, when necessary, we refer patients needing other services to safe and reliable community resources.
