Atlantic Shores offers several treatment options for substance abuse, psychiatric care or a combined approach, depending upon the patient's physical and psychological needs. Each patient undergoes an assessment to determine the most appropriate level of care needed. Should hospitalization be necessary, a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals led by a psychiatrist is assigned to each patient. These specialized teams can be comprised of a board certified psychiatrist, registered nurses, counselors, mental health specialists, recreational therapists, social workers, addiction counselors, psychologists and other professionals.
